Sewerage Scheme - Kilcummin, Co. Kerry.
Kilcummin Sewerage Scheme involved the installation of a new sewer collection system for Kilcummin Village, creating a vital link to Killarney Town's sewer network. The works were carried out for Coffey Construction, who were appointed to deliver the scheme on behalf of Irish Water. This project included the installation of new sewer infrastructure along challenging sections of the route, with excavations exceeding 7 metres in depth in places. To carry out these works safely and efficiently, we provided specialist long-reach machinery to excavate and position trench boxes for deep installations. This allowed pipe installation to proceed in a controlled and secure manner throughout the project. All pipework was installed and tested to the required standards, with careful attention given to safety, quality, and programme delivery. Following completion of the underground works, roads were reinstated and returned to the correct finished levels. The completed scheme formed an important infrastructure upgrade for the area, improving wastewater connectivity and supporting the long-term needs of the village.
